The Mobile Booster Kit from Wilson Electronics is our solution for poor reception while on the road. Various factors can inhibit cellular reception while on the go. Buildings, distance from a cell tower and mountainous terrain can all affect your reception. With the Mobile Booster Kit you can say goodbye to poor reception and dropped calls while on the road. The Mobile Booster Kit is perfect for road trips through remote areas and anyone who experiences poor reception in their vehicle. The booster kit is compatible with all major North American carriers, with the exception of Nextel/iDEN.
The exterior magnetic mount antenna securely attaches to the roof of you vehicle, picking up the normally weak cellular signal and passing it along to the mobile amplifier. The amplifier strengthens this signal and relays it to the dash mounted phone cradle, providing you with the reception you need while on the road.
The advantage of the cradle antenna, over the standard broadcasting antenna, is that the cradle antenna concentrates the signal for use by a single device, whereas the broadcasting antenna disperses the signal throughout the vehicle.
