Overview The Wilson 301112 Dual Band NMO Mount Trucker Antenna is a dual band antenna with 4.9 / 5.9 dB of gain. It can be used with one of the amplifiers on our site, or connect directly to your phone with an adapter cable (see below). The antenna is made of stainless steel and is fully weather-proof. Installation: The Wilson 301112 is an omni-directional antenna. Omni-directional antennas receive signal from all directions, and so the antenna needs to be installed in a vertical position in the area of strongest signal. Mounting details: The Wilson 301112 uses a NMO Mount (Sold separately) mount. Non-Magnetic Option (NMO) Mount Antennas mount through the metal roof or trunk of a vehicle (drilling a hole required). NMO Mount Antennas are frequently used on police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, public utility service trucks and other dedicated vehicles. Direct connect option: You can also use the Wilson 301112 instead of your phone's standard antenna, by attaching the 301112 to your phone's external antenna port. Most phones have these ports, and all you need to make it work is a Wilson adapter cable.
